About Us

It all started with these littles…

Miss Jes has always had a passion for teaching and obtained her Bachelor’s in Elementary Education at Anna Maria College. By teaching in multiple educational realms, she found she loved working in the Early Education field. Miss Jes went on to Becker college to obtain her Director 2 Certification in Early Education and Care. In 2014, after a fourteen-year teaching career, she opened a family childcare out of her home.

Just one year later, due to a long waitlist, Miss Jes opened a large group childcare in Holden, MA called Little Hearts Learning Center.

In 2017, the First Congregational church of Paxton reached out and asked for her to open a center within their church. In 2018, after a strenuous process, Miss Jes opened her second center in the center of Paxton.

COVID hit hard and at the end of 2020, she knew it was in the best interest of the families to close the Holden location. This allowed Miss Jes to focus on one center to assure that everyone was fully supported with enough staff during unprecedented times. This choice allowed her to stay open and grow the program through the pandemic.

Today, LHLC is flourishing and Miss Jes truly believes it is what she was meant to do and feels blessed that she and the staff get to impact so many lives while doing what they love every day!

We care for children between 3 weeks and 6 years old.

Our Team

Our philosophy…

Loving Hearts Learning Center, LLC embraces the belief that parents are the first and most important teachers of their children and that the first years of a child's life are by far the most important, helping to lay the foundation for all intellectual and emotional development to follow.

Through nurturing and individualized attention, we take great care to provide a warm, friendly, and fun environment for your child, while ensuring they receive the guidance and structure they need.

Loving Hearts is guided by the principle of developmentally appropriate practice. Our teachers embrace the view that each child is a unique person with an individual pattern and timing of social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development.

Our center offers a "hands-on" approach to learning and provides a full creative play curriculum. This style of early childhood education is designed to foster creativity, expanded self-expression, and the development of socialization skills, independence, and a positive self-image.

Our job is to make sure that each child has numerous positive experiences and interactions throughout each day. It is our hope that when the day is done, and children go home, they feel happy and proud of themselves; eager to express the happenings of their day to you.
